Grade: Mo1、Mo2、Mo3.

Molybdenum-Wire
Molybdenum wire is produced both from pure metal and from its alloys with other refractory and rare earth metals. Small amounts of additives radically change the properties of the wire. For example, rhenium allows it to withstand high electrical loads for long periods of time, while lanthanum prevents intergranular corrosion.

Properties: Molybdenum wire is characterized by high elasticity and strength, both in tensile and compression. The product is resistant to deformation and oxidation at high temperature differences, as well as during operation in an aggressive environment.Molybdenum has properties of heat resistance, high refractoriness, excellent conductivity of electric current, without losing its shape.

Application:

1.Devices for measuring high temperatures, which include tungsten-molybdenum thermocouples. They allow measurements of temperatures exceeding 2000 °C. Molybdenum wire is used in the manufacture of incandescent lamps. It is used to make hooks and loops that support a tungsten spiral, as well as cores for winding a tungsten spiral. Molybdenum wire is used to produce heaters for high-temperature electric furnaces, as well as grids for receiving-amplifying lamps.
2.The range of molybdenum wire varies in shape and cross-sectional diameter, as well as in length.
3.Molybdenum wire is reliable, durable, and capable of working in harsh operating conditions. The service life significantly exceeds the performance of similar products made of other metals.

Note: Mo1 and Mo2 are grade of pure molybdenum,During production powder of Mo2 is  coarse than Mo1. Mo3 is grade of doping element. “δ” is extend. “Q” is loop incisor. “G” is high temperature.

Surface quality: Surface is spread graphite milk and shows uniform black color. Severity oxidation and mildew isn’t allowed. Molybdenum wire is easy to get rid off graphite milk then shows metal luster. There isn’t crack、burr、nick and concave pit that can affect use. Slight longitudinal line is allowed for molybdenum wire which diameter isn’t less than 500 um. Very few small burrs are allowed for W2 grade molybdenum wire. Distinct crooked wire is allowed for molybdenum wire which diameter is larger than 150 um.
